Exciting year

2012 is such an exciting year with so much happening and so many show. The latest show to be added to my list is at the UK Carnival Arts Centre in Luton (July 5-25). This show coincides with the Olympic Torch coming to Luton and staying overnight at the UKCAC. The carnival (my favourite event of the year) is also taking place at the same weekend. More on this later.

2012 will be a very busy year

We have had plenty of snow this week, but at least it is not this cold. Photo circ. 1893.
There is quite a lot of news for this year. What with the Queen’s Jubilee and the London Olympics 2012 this year promises to give us plenty of excitment (not just on the tele but in our town there will be lots of celebrating going on.

I have been working of several shows for 2012 and will put up more details as thing emerge. Doing lots of paintings. There is an initial list of forthcoming shows here on my home page.

Just to show you cannot get away from the weather wherever you go. The supermarket carpark in Grenada in the wet season, I could not see to drive for at least 20 minutes. Since Christmas I have been busy organising shows so have now new work to put up for a little while. 2012 is looking like a very busy year, what with celebrating the Olympics and Queens Jubilee, there are so many events taking place and everyone I speak to seems to have such a positive outlook. Personally, I am getting involved in as many things as possible, so should have more to write about. Any questions or comments please email celia.husband@btinternet.com.

New Art Series on the way

I have a new series of work in process. Fallen leaves, consisting of mixed media paintings and collage on canvas, and also paintings and designs in ink and acrylic on paper.
